This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs your use of the Vubox application. By installing or using Vubox, you agree to these terms.

Subscription-based access

1. Overview

Vubox is a personal media library application that allows you to organise, review and collect your own video content. Vubox is provided solely for private, non-commercial use by individuals who are at least 18 years old.

2. Eligibility

You may use Vubox only if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this Agreement. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Subscription model

Access to Vubox is provided on a subscription basis. Your subscription may be offered and managed through the app distribution platform (for example, Apple’s App Store). The platform’s terms will explain billing, renewal and cancellation procedures.

By starting a subscription, you authorise the platform to charge you the applicable subscription fees and taxes on a recurring basis, until you cancel in accordance with the platform’s rules.

4. Licence to use Vubox

Subject to your continued subscription and compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use Vubox on devices that you own or control in accordance with the usage rules set out by the app distribution platform.

5. Your media and content

Vubox is designed to help you manage your own media library. You are solely responsible for the content that you store, manage or access through the App.

  • You must ensure that you have all necessary rights to use the content.
  • You must not use Vubox to store or manage content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive or otherwise violates applicable laws or third‑party rights.

6. Prohibited uses

You agree that you will not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the App;
  • circumvent any technical limitations or security measures;
  • use Vubox for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • use Vubox for commercial services such as public playback or sharing;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App;
  • use Vubox in a way that infringes the rights of any person or organisation, including intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.

7. Intellectual property

Vubox, including its design, user interface, features and underlying technology, is owned or licensed by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence granted in this Agreement, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Vubox Privacy Policy. In summary, we only collect a user identifier and subscription information. All other content and settings remain on your device. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

9. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue Vubox or any of its features at any time, including to reflect technical, security, legal or business changes. Where reasonable, we will try to ensure that such changes do not unreasonably reduce the core functionality of the App for active subscribers.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vubox is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, secure or error‑free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of Vubox. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App or this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect while you use Vubox and have an active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach this Agreement or if your subscription ends. Upon termination, the licence granted to you will cease, and you must stop using the App.

13. Governing law

The laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside may apply to this Agreement. Where mandatory consumer protection rules provide you with additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

15. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements or business needs. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of Vubox after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
